Alicante, Costa Blanca Shopping
Zenia boulavard shopping centre is within walking distance of the property containing shops such as Pull&Bear, Zara, H&M and many more. Zeniamar, Playa Flamenca & Citrus Commercial centres all offer a wide range of shops, bars & restaurants all offering excellent nightly entertainment and international dining options including Indian, Chinese, Italian and of course the traditional English fish & chip shops. Fast food establishments – McDonalds and Burgerking, both within 5 – 7 minutes walk from the property.
There is also a large number of supermarkets (including Carrefour), butchers and fish mongers all within walking distance of the property.
Go-karting
Within 5 minutes walk of the property is a Go-karting arena with karts for juniors, adults and Honda’s for the more adventurous requiring greater speed!
Golf in Alicante
Alicante is the home of many championship golf courses including La Finca at Algorfa, a nice 20 mins drive through countryside with orange and lemon groves. Villamartin, Real Club Campoamor, Las Ramblas are all approx 10-15 mins drive from Zenimar Phase 8.
Within Short driving distance from the property …
Torrevieja town is approximately 10 minutes drive, with a variety of restaurants, bars and shops. There is a promenade with market stalls, selling a variety of items. Nightly fun fair during the summer. The town comes alive at night during the summer months, where the main road is closed to traffic. There is a harbour where you can take boat rides and the Delfin S61 submarine.
There are some great Spanish restaurants in Torrevieja town so you can have a great meal then enjoy the funfair and stallholders that set out their goods at night.
There are several beaches dotted along the magnificent coastline. Our favourites are all within 10 minutes drive of the property. We suggest if you are a beach-lover, try out La Mata, Calle Capatain, Playa Flamenca, La Zenia, Cabo Roig, Campoamor and Mil Palmeras beaches.
15 minutes drive from the property is San Pedro del Pinatar with Lo Pagan (a natural mud spa set in the salt lakes) with a magnificent prom and jetties into the salt lakes where you see the Spanish bath in the mud for therapeutic healing of many ailments (particularly good for skin and orthopaedic healing)
Las Habaneras shopping centre has 3 stories of shops (including C&A, Zara, H&M, and a wide range of shoe, jewellery shops) there are 2 stories of underground parking. The first hour of parking is free. The shopping centre is situated 10 minutes drive away.
Fun and Outdoor Activities
The Ozone complex with casino, ten pin bowling, crazy golf and many restaurants (including KFC and a Wok Buffet) is just 10 minutes drive away.
There is a great water park (Aquopolis) within 10 minutes drive – Open from May to September.
Pacha nightclub is situated opposite the water park.
If you enjoy football, FC Torrevieja’s football ground is about 10 mins drive.

Horse-riding at Campoamor and jet skiing off Campoamor beach during the summer months.
A little further afield …
The historical towns of Cartegena, approx 45 mins drive. Murcia, approx 40 mins drive and Orihuela, approx 30 mins drive which make enjoyable days out as do the surrounding national parks.
1 hours drive you have, Terra Mitica theme park. Terra Natura animal sactuary, Aqualandia water park, MundoMar sealife centre.
Markets
There is a market everyday of the week on the Southern Costa Blanca. Two major ones are Playa Flamenca on a Saturday, approximately 10 minute walk.
Torrevieja market is held on a Friday, and is probably the largest market in the area.
Getting around…
As there are many shops, bars and restaurants all within walking distance, a car is not necessary in this area.
However, if you if you wish to explore the magnificent surrounding countryside and go further afield, car hire may be worth considering for a couple of days.
